Martin Rier (Frankfurt) joined KKR in 2026 and is a Director within KKR Capstone, predominantly dedicated to KKR's DACH PE platform. Mr. Rier was previously with Sandvik, where he most recently served as president of the ground support division, leading a global business with full P&L responsibility. In this role, he drove a comprehensive transformation agenda focused on operational excellence, strategy execution, and organizational development. Prior to Sandvik, Mr. Rier held several leadership roles at DYWIDAG Systems International (DSI) and DSI Underground, where he played a key role in scaling the business, significantly increasing revenues and profitability, and supporting a successful private equity exit. Earlier in his career, he worked at Bain & Company and KPMG, focusing on strategy, M&A, and value creation initiatives. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck.
