Alexander Doll serves as Chairman at CVC DIF for the DACH region. He sits on a number of supervisory boards such as Ukrainian Railways, Arriva Ltd, Verve SE and families as an independent board member. Alexander is also an investor in software and technology companies and startups.

Between 2017 and 2020, Alexander acted as CFO and a Member of the Executive Board at Deutsche Bahn responsible for freight transport and logistics, and as Chairman of of DB Schenker, DB Cargo, and DB Arriva plc.

Other highlights of his career include leadership roles at Barclays, Lazard, UBS, and Lehman Brothers.

Alexander also serves on several advisory boards, including those of the German Stock Institute and the German Logistics Association, and is a member of the Foundation Board and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, as well as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Berlin State Opera.
