Paul Disse is Head of Portfolio Operations at Alpine Investors — the team responsible for building and scaling the core operational infrastructure across Alpine’s portfolio companies. His work spans three domains: finance, technology, and M&A integration. In practice, this means recruiting and developing CFOs, CIOs, and integration leaders; establishing the financial controls and tech processes that enable companies to scale; selecting and implementing technology stacks across fragmented industries; and building the repeatable integration capabilities that underpin Alpine’s add-on acquisition strategy. Paul and his team think of themselves as the “foundation builders” that enable Alpine’s broader value creation playbook. He has deep expertise in the first 90 days post-close and in standing up platform infrastructure from scratch in mid-market services and software businesses.
