Tawfik Jamjoum is a partner in Kearney’s Private Equity and M&A practice, where for more than 20 years he has partnered with PE sponsors and executive teams to drive value creation across the full investment life cycle, from pre-deal diligence through execution and exit readiness. His private equity work spans asset-heavy and asset-light industries, with portfolio companies ranging from $250 million to $10 billion plus in revenue. At Kearney, he focuses on portfolio operations and champions the firm’s AI-enabled due diligence capabilities, helping sponsors see further into asset performance before signing a deal.Tawfik frequently writes on how private equity value creation is adapting to a structurally unstable geopolitical environment, including a Harvard Business Review article on how CFOs turn scenario planning into a competitive edge; The Compounding Mistake, on why standard value-creation playbooks fall short without a continuous improvement discipline; and his latest, Private Equity’s New Rules of Engagement, which argues that as geopolitical instability becomes systemic rather than cyclical, operational alpha, not multiple expansion, is the only durable response.Tawfik holds a master’s in international affairs (focused on the geopolitics of energy and security) from Columbia University. He lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife and two daughters.
